Ustream.tv appears to be on the cutting edge of a new form of video blogging which may possibly be called “live blogging” in the future. I first ran into Ustream.tv shortly after Justin.tv launched, but didn’t think much of it. Then, Chris Pirillo put on a show which combined video streaming, irc chat, skype, free conferencing and twitter to create a very interesting interactive experience.

That was really cool, but what makes this even cooler is the bandwidth aspect. For most web cam services you will have to stress out about your ISP terminating your services because of your video stream sucking up bandwidth. With Ustream.tv you upload to Ustream.tv first and they take the bandwidth hit – so you could have hundreds of simultaneous viewers instead of a handful.

Anyway, take a look, sign up and play around… I have a feeling this is going to be the next big thing!
