Send a Shout Out to Norway With Telemegaphone Dale

by manatee on August 9, 2008

Have you ever wanted to shout and let your voice be heard throughout the mountains of Norway?  Telemegaphone Dale allows you to do just that.  On August 2, 2008 a group of horn carriers climbed the top of the Bergskletten mountain and installed a giant megaphone that stands seven meters tall.

Call +47 90 369389 to say whatever is on your mind to the people, sheep and other inhabitants of the village Dale - below the mountain in Western Norway.

No answer?  Telemegaphone Dale is wind powered and self-reliant. Recently however, the weather has been exceptionally calm in Dale and there has been a massive amount of people calling.

I’d recommend using Skype when you try to project your voice across the hills of Norway as it will save you a lot on your phone bill.  :)  Visit the official Telemegaphone Dale project site at Unsworn Industries.
