Kerri and I recently took a trip to all over Kansas, and one place we stopped was to see the Monument Rocks off of Hwy 83 about 20 miles south of Oakley, Kansas. While driving there it was probably the first time in my life that I can remember not seeing any telephone/power lines, radio towers, etc. You could see nothing but land in every direction and made it feel as if your were in the land rush of the 1800’s. Pretty cool experience indeed…
