Goldfish can’t close their eyes, so they are depending on you to turn the room or aquarium lights off for them… so they can rest and refresh their brain.

When goldfish do go to sleep they look as if they are suspended in one general area. Just hovering above the bottom or they might hide in a plant or other decoration.
