This cam comes to you from Peggy’s Cove in Nova Scotia, Canada and features a view of the lighthouse at Peggy’s Cove. Legend has it that a schooner ran aground in the 1800′s and the sole survivor was named Peggy by the locals, and eventually the cove was named after her. Watch people walking on the rocks near the lighthouse and touring inside it as well. You can chose the refresh rate of the webcam to update once every 10 seconds to every 5 minutes. You can also view archived images from the past.
This beach cam comes to you from Grand Haven, Michigan and features a live view of a beach off of Lake Michigan. This cam “sort of” has pan, tilt and zoom…but hey, it’s better than nothing! You can also view archived photos and hall of fame pictures from the past. I’ve noticed on some of the pictures they seem to be close-up with detail. I believe this is possible as I’m pretty sure they move the camera around from time to time.
